I have heard that the 928 (4.7ltr) can have problems with oil pick-up during high G turns as the pan is very shallow. Have people had problems with this during fast turns etc? Obviously this is not a problem for me (LOL!) but I will be running the engines at angles of up to 45 degrees for long periods of time and angles of up to 60 degrees for short periods.
I plan to fit an Accusump (for those who don't know... its a bottle of pressurised oil that feeds the engine when the oil pressure drops - eg during oil pick-up exposure) but wondered whether people had come up with some good baffle and oil control solutions?
I have seen some rather pricey (£1000 and upwards) baffle and crank scraper kits but I don't really need a scraper, nor do I want to pay so much! The Accusump will be good for 30 secs or so for high angles but was hoping for something else to help during longer periods at shallower angles... redundancy and all that!
