Well my engine arrived today! It looks fairly good. However part of the cam belt cover (centre piece) is damaged and the top right cover has a crack but that can be repaired. Also some idiot has cut the alternator wires just at the exit!!! It also seems one of the fittings has been put back on with some crappy gasket sealer so would need to check most of them. It has the fuel rails, injectors, spark plugs, alternator, PAS pump (I think that's what it is!), engine mounts (just the pressed steel frame) and throttle body.
Otherwise it looks fairly tidy apart from a bit of grime. The oil has been drained but it looks fairly clean and the coolant 'looks' fairly healthy. Let me know what guys think...
