:( Well having bought what I thought was quite a nice 928 just under a year ago with the intention of keeping it and doing whatever needed doing it sadly had to go. After 30 years of marriage I found out that my wife couldn't be trusted and the money that I thought I had for a budget for this car was no longer there so sadly I've had to part company with it. It sold quite quickly and I hope the new owner enjoy's it as I had intended to do, I'd just like to thank those who tried to help with the odd problem that I had with the car and wish you all happy 928 motoring in the future. Sod's law say's that the usual GTS oil consumption aside it was running like a dream of late.
Anybody need a deceiptful and underhanded soon to be ex wife? :(

Sorry to hear that. Am sure in time you will be a 928 owner again.

I am going to collect my first 928 tomorrow.

Ironically it's to celebrate my 'eventual' divorce.

Best of Luck..

Sorry to hear about this Graham. I have enjoyed chatting to you over the last 11 months. Please buy a cheap 944 to use while things settle down. I'm sure you will enjoy a 928 again one day and we shall eventually meet. Every time your finger hurts ( after the snapped tendon ) in the cold weather, you will remember the car. You know where to find me if you ever want to chat. Good luck and all the best.

Gutted for you, especially when it was such a desirable model.

(Hope you won't be too offended if I turn down you kind offer of the "soon to be ex wife")

Sorry to hear this :( :( Hope you're back inthe fold soon :)

Unfortunetely, I don't think I could get a buyer for the exwife but could possibly for the 928 .... ;)

Nicola

Sorry to hear of your troubles 30 years is a long time. Try and remember the good times you had both with your car and soon to be ex wife, and hopefully 2011 will prove to be a better time for you. Keep in touch through the forum though and at the various events, as you know you don't need a Porsche to come along.

Sorry to hear of your problems.

Hope some of my advice helped to sort the car.

Is new owner TIPEC guy or 928uk? Would be nice to see such a rare 928 at an event soon as never manged to get to see her in your ownership.

Cheers

Adrian

:) Adrian, I'll post him the details of the club, thanks for the advice you gave a lot of my questions were probably through naivity of 928's but with the help of yourself, John Speake and others it was running fine, my poor old Passat estate doesn't give the same experience as the 928 did but who know's once I'm sorted hopefully I'll be back. :)

Hi Andy

If you're not already on it, recommend you join the 928 owners mailing list via 928.org

Fantastic source of help and advice on any aspect of these cars.

Keep an eye on 928.org for more news of 928 gathering near Oxford early April, and Brooklands next day courtesy of our friends at PCGB.

If you're already on 928UK then I'll shut up!
