Hi,
Looking for some advise on fuel system problems. I have a 928S 1983 and it appears that after fitting a new Warm Up Regulator that the pump is pulling sedement through from the tank and also recirculating back through the system unused fuel causing the car to splutter and only run for a short distance. We have flushed the system and changed the filters.
Can anyone help??

The mechanical injection 928s are a mystery to me I'm afraid. My S4 uses the more complex LH-jetronic but at least it's a familiar system to me and also well documented in the workshop manual.

But there's a wealth of expertise available via the 928.org.uk link Andrew was kind enough to post. Get yourself on the email list (may take a day or so to set up) then you can get advice from some real experts on your system.
