Sounds good, thanks.
Going to look at one tomorrow and wanted to get an idea for negotiation purposes

Hi
If looking at one you MUST find out PRECISELY WHEN the cambelt was last CHANGED ...not checked..actually CHANGED with the water pump.....4 years is an absolute maximum...so even if its only done 50 miles in the last 10 years, it MUST be changed as its over the 4 years...so at least £600 off....
Also...on the AIRCON......they NEVER EVER "Just needs regassing sir" lollll....if you want aircon and it doesn't work...think £1500 to £2000 unless you are very lucky..
Its never worked on mine and doesn't bother me as the normal heating system and climate control still works even with no aircon

If it drives smoothly and gears change ok and brakes are fine and it MUST have an MOT...THE ONLY OTHER THING TO CHECK IS THE ELECTRICS....
This is very important as the electrics rarely stop a 928 going places but are a pain to fix and can cost big money...
So check ALL of them.....you must have no lights on dash once engine is running....check seats move (both sides) check both windows go up and down, check boot release works...(pull knob on floor by right of drivers seat by handbrake)..check headlights come up when switch rotated to right and go back down when turned back to left..blowers etc etc..
Hope this helps

Dont be put off as a 928 is a fantastic car, my famous saying now....
"When I go out in the morning (daily driver) and that HUGE V8 rumbles into life it puts a smile on my face all day

"
All the best Brett
