Now if you joined Tipec Pedalboy you would have received excellent ckub mag All Torque complete with feature by yours truly on changing 928 fuel filter!

It's under cover at rear of fuel tank thar's held on by 2 10mm nuts high under rear bumper. Nuts attach to studs on fuel tank cradle.

You should use flare/pipe spanners to undo the compression fittings attaching filter to metal fuel lines. Need 17mm and 19mm sizes. Can use ordinary spanners to counterhold.

The transmission fluid needs to be changed along with filter every 30,000 miles. Originally just Dex II ATF so modern equiv will be backwards compatible (I think standard stuff in Halfords is Dex III).

Also check the condition of the fuel-tank cradle as its a well known rot point.

I replaced mine with the stainless steel version from http://www.nixsoft-consulting.co.uk/928spares/products.html

Although I'm not sure he still does them? - Maybe if you ask nicely?

Ben

Bit of May action.

You can always have a weekend away at York, with a shopping trip to Leeds on the Saturday afternoon  .
