As per title, do these actually serve a useful purpose or are they just for show?

Hi :)

On most 928s, no point at all.....

Having said that, I use a breather bottle on mine as when on Nitrous mine smokes a LOT !!

So instead of the engine fumes going out of the exhaust, they go into the catch bottle...

That particular one with 12 mm inlet is way too small for any 928 though as our breather pipes are 19 mm i think....

The honest answer is ....when you boot your 928 HARD , if you can see smoke in your interior mirror, you need one.....if not...you dont :)

All the best Brett :)

:) Brett mine usually chucks out a good old puff of blue smoke but to be honest it's usually after you've booted it hard and slowed up and then go to pull away again, if that makes sense. Completely off track but do you know the amke & part number for the 20" wiper blades you bought for your car or are they a fairly universal fit? :)

Hi :)

A puff is nothing lol...on Nitrous mine can FILL the road behind me.... but mine has always been a bit of a smoker so it doesn't worry me too much and with Nitrous a loose engine is better than a tight one...

I got the blades here....

http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-346-car-workshop-items.aspx

They give a club discount as well...10% I think......not sure of the code as not a member lol...

I am sure someone will say though....

All the best Brett :)
