Hi All :)

To help the discussion about RMBs vs the original kidney shaped box, here are some pictures and details....

The original kidney shaped rear box is enormous and weighs 28 lbs....

When replaced by the RMB which weighs 10 lbs you get three things,

1, A weight saving of 18 lbs

2, A lot more noise, it starts to sound like a real V8 again...

3, Maybe 1 to 2 hp extra.

Outlet pipes are just larger on the RMB than on the original and of course as is obvious from the pictures its a twin pipe straight through system with no sound deadening at all.

All the best Brett :)

Does Mrs Brett know what you've been up to with her bathroom scales?

Sorry back on topic, thats a good weight saving and the sound was fantastic when you pulled away from Chaplegate the other day. Admittedly you nearly shattered all there windows with the thunder  but nice sound all the same.

Hi Jim :)

We have the new digital ones now, and soon I am told we will get those new fangled electric bulb thingies instead of candles :)

All the best Brett :)

Hi Andy :)

The only trouble is "I" NEVER hear much of the noise lol......on a scale of 1 to 100 where 1 is very quiet.....what was the score as I drove away ???

All the best Brett :)
