Hi,

I'd like to thank you for all the advice, I've decided to give this one a miss. Having had another look in the dry I see the paint/body work just isn't as good as it looked in the wet !!

Also the service history is pretty compete up to 2006, but it looks like the car hasn't been touched for the last 4 years.

The milage however does look genuine, so maybe a good buy for someone, but not for me.

Thanks again.

Paul, thanks for the offer, I may take you up on it if I find a better car in the future. I'd really like to see what a good 928 should look/feel like.

George

No Problem

Why don't you come along to the Red Lion on 14th September - there are usually a couple of very nice S4's on the car park.
Ply the owners with a beer and they will talk your head off :D Seriously you will have a good night out and learn a lot about 928's

All the best

Paul :D

Yes come along to next meet at Red Lion. I'm one of those 928 owners (not sure if one of nice ones referred to) who can be bought for price of a beer!

Adrian

Hi, I have just bought an S2 and found the 928 essential buyers guide very useful. There is a points system in the book which allows you (if you are inexperienced like me) to see if the car is worthwhile. My car scored 187points and I was critical. The book was priced at £7.95 on Amazon. A worthwhile purchase I think.. :D

Well this car sold for £2.5k on ebay and I see it now on Autotrader from a dealer with a new MOT for £6995.... I can't see it selling soon.
