Hi,
Don't know if any body out there has removed a Porsche 928 hand brake cable were it fits into the body of the car before it comes into the car by the drives side seat if so maybe you can help.
I am rebuilding the complete car however after speaking to people & reading advise on the internet I was advised to remove the complete cable & outer part of cable from under the car were it passes into the inside of the car to allow the complete back beam to be reoved, however I could not get the out part of the cable to release from the body so in the end I had to cut the cable & the outer cable proberly not a good idea but at the time I was stuck.
I now need to remove the outer part of the cable that is stuck into the body of the car & replace with new, Any ideas
1, how to remove the outer cable part, is it welded crimped ?
2, can I purchase and fit a new outer cable from some were and is it held in in a special way ?
Thanks
