Hi All

I have now fitted my Fuel Transducer and connected it to my Race Controller..
It is fitted to the end of the left hand fuel rail (facing engine from front)
It sends a signal to my race controller inside car and is EXTREMELY accurate.
For anyone considering Nitrous these figures will tell you all you need to know and should be of interest to others as well....
The pump or pumps on a 928 are capable of producing around 110 psi.
At the back of each fuel rail are two fuel regulators which set the pressure to each rail.
There is no difference between rails as I swapped the Transducer to test it as I have drilled and tapped my right hand rail for other Nitrous fittings, you can only test pressure on a normal 928 at left hand rail as it has a pressure gauge fitting on end of rail (intended for the Porsche manual testing guage at idle)
PRESSURES
Idle = 39 psi
Normal acceleration = 41 to 43 psi
Hard acceleration = 44 to 46 psi
Overrun = 35 psi
With Nitrous running = Over 50 psi (depending on amount used)All the best Brett
