Hello everyone,

1989 944 2.7 Black. Yummy.

I would really appreciate your ideas on:
1. The removal and servicing of the rear compartment luggage cover. The roller blind thingy.
2. I need a new powered drivers seat in pinstripe or maybe 'logo'. perhaps passenger seat as well if the price is right. By 'right' I mean what I can afford :D Thanks for any help. Rod

JMG has got 3 complete lux's in his lockup, sure he could sort you out with any interior parts you need at a good price. He even had a complete Pascha interior if anyones looking

No idea on the roller, mine's still working. Nothing in Clarkes guide at all?

Rod,

I have just re-built my rear roller blind using the guide on Clarks garage : http://www.clarks-garage.com/.

Have a look under 'garage shop manual' and then search for Cargo cover repair. Its quite straightforward. Shout up if you need any help.

JMG or Ebay are usually a good source for seats, otherwise try PH sportscars or Porschapart. You can google the names for the numbers.

Thanks RR, I have seen this.
Very unpleasant times for all concerned.
My impression was that they were trying to move forward now, undoubtedly difficult though it will be, so I had hoped for a response however brief to begin with.
I'll wait and see.

Hi David
Was there on Wednesday and it seemed to be moving forward. Have sent this thread to Declan, let us know if there's still no results. They've got new phone systems and computer programs being installed to help with the amount of calls and paperwork they have to deal with. You shouldn't get an engaged tone now, you should be put through to an answermachine which will handle over 10 calls at the same time if main phone is busy. Leave a message and the right person should then be able to get back to you. They are also having phones put in the workshop so Declan doesn't have to go for a run around the whole garage to find someone. I think progress on your vehicle will be logged on the new computer system so Declan can tell you straight away where your vehicle repair is at.

Hope that helps

Andy
