Post subject:  968/944 door cards
I'm thinking off changing my door cards 2 the later 968 style, with the puffed centers. Anybody no if the 944 carpet door well will fit, as the 968 has a longer well. And if anything nasty looking holes will be on show? The leather will get dyed White when I get round 2 it. but the blue mayb the same as my boxster seats, which would be nice 4 now.

Did all 968 have leather lower dash and centre console?

I'm sure I've heard that the 944 and 968 doors are exactly the same? Can anyone confirm this? If so, I would have thought an entire 968 inside door card panel and switches should fit?

Think they are the same for the 944 as 968 with the later ones having deeper pockets under the handles which can be replaced with speakers. There is a pair of late 944/968 logo door cards on eBay for £85 or best offer at present http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PORSCHE-944-968-L ... 3a5dc9a305

Yeah I no there the same outside diameter, and the swithes are in the same place, but 968 door cards have a door well that is under the arm rest/door pull, which fits the full length off the door card at a higher hight then the 944. This I would like 2 replace with mine as I think the carpet will be blue, and I want 2 keep everything black/White.

Also the 968 door cards have puff leather above the arm rest and stiching.

I have the ten speaker up grade from the factory
