944 S2 - rather annoying the drivers side c/l doesn't seem to be working properly. I can open both doors with the key from the drivers side but can only open the passenger door with the key from the passenger side. The button on the centre console will also only lock the passenger side door. Can anyone suggest where I should start to initially diagnose the cause of the fault? Anyone else had a similar issue? Thanks in advance.

Probably the little white plastic clip that connects the locking solenoid to the actual lock. They only cost a couple of quid from an OPC , but you have to strip the door card off to access it.Dont bother trying to repair it , for what they cost and the hassle to get to it , buy a new one before you start!!- Been there and got the tee shirt!!
