Whenever I take a photo of my car I rarely take it side on because I don't think it looks so good and having gone through a lot of the photos on this website I noticed that most of the photos were taken:
a. From the front/back at a slight angle.
b. Straight on front/back.

So the question is do others think the same or is it just a coincidence that everyone else takes photos like me?

I was also speculating on whether the size of the wheels or the model makes a difference.

I agree, the side is not it's best feature and i are mostly taking pics at angles.

I think they look great from the side.

I agree they don't look too good from the side . The design is over 25 years old so I suppose its to be expected. I think they look a lot too high , almost as high as old saloon cars of the 80's
I hate the wheel -wells on 944 . I have 17" Cup wheels on mine and they fill the arches really well. The S2 has a wider track too which helps to fill the gaps in the arch.
One of the easiest and best mods is to widen the track and fit larger wheels and tyres .

I reckon one of the best views is from above actually.

Maybe 944s look better than 968s from the side.

I'm with cococola, I don't have any view angles I don't like....

Side views are fine. More so on a 924

not quite a profile but near enough

They just look so much better from the front, I have always thought 944 is nicer then the 968, when view still. But iv seen quite a few 968 around marlow, were iv been working and from high up in a van they look nicer, I thinknits the round headlights, I don't like them popped up, but I haven't like new 911s till they went back 2 the single round lense.
