anyone know what larger brake discs from other porsche models will fit a 944 turbo ?

caliper clearence is not an issue as i am going to be running a set of 996 gt2 callipers all round.

i had saw somewhere that 993 turbo discs had been used in a big brake conversion.

any info ?

There's some very useful info on this page

Or you could get some 2 piece disks made up. I spoke to these guys at the Autosport show last year and they said they could make some alloy bells up to any dimensions I wanted or I could send them a disk and they would copy it in a larger diameter.

Not a bad price for discs up to 335mm diameter but they start to get expensive bigger than that.

Let us know what you decide to do.

Have a look here. http://944hybrids.forumotion.com/ Lots of options though anything different will require an engineers report & type approval for insurance. Or they may just walk away. Some of these guys swear by Boxster S discs & calipers but you need a conversion ring for the hub.
