If caught in the right light the the end vents and plastic control backing( the bit between the dash with the heater control and light e.c.t look more brown then black against the dash and door cars. Also the electric window swicths seem 2 be suffering as well. Any tip or products 2 get the plastic black angain? Iv heard polytrol ment 2 be good?

mine's doing the same. there was someone a while back put this stuff on and it looked pretty good but ofc fake carbon isnt to everyones taste. I dont know that anything will restore the colour once its faded, polytrol may darken it but ive found most of these treatments are only temporary measures, they 're-wet' the plastic but the oils evaporate pretty quickly. I thought about painting them but decided just to live with it as at least its consistent.

a word of warning; they're very brittle plastics at this age so be careful if youre removing/refitting them.

Yeah, iv seen that plastic shit! Walnut dash and that . I wonder if some black vinyl or something would do. But what about the vents and cluster surround. Spray could work, not 2 sure how well on the vents. Wonder how much new ones are if there still even aliable. Then you got the centre console as well.

Ermm quite a tricky one
