hi all
this is the cap and rotor arm on my car and it is still running
think i will get a new one for the weekend !!!!

Wow look at that centre carbon on the dizzy cap. You're lucky that it has electronic ignition otherwise it never would have started. |

When I serviced mine it looked very similar but you can clean it up with careful use of a knife and plenty of solvent (I used acetone, old habit from my days as a chemist, but it works a treat - just don't tell the missus you've nicked her nail polish remover  )

i suspect it may run a little better on replacement, nice carbon build up |
