Is there a reason that the bulk of the used front wings for sale are near-side ones?

Or is it just me looking in the wrong places.

What sort off condition u looking 4? Iv got 2 turbo wing in red, in need off some rust/rot repire. There free if u need them

Thanks for the offer Terry, but they're probably the same as mine. My near-side one was new four years ago, but the off-side one is original and has rotted at the bottom. I am intending to have the wing repaired, along with any other bodywork that needs doing, over the next few weeks. If I am lucky they can keep the repair work to below the bottom of the door line, so that minimum respraying is required.

It can't be that difficult for a skilled old bloke to repair the wings, both front and rear.

How bad is the rust on the turbo wings Terra?

Been about a year sense I last looked, r take some pics on weekend in the day light, I think there was so blistering paint around the indactour and the lower mounting point had rotted away. But there repaire able. I cut my n/a wings 2 fit turbo front bumper. This was really easy and saved the agro off removing, I had mine repired b4 respary, which had also rotted away at the bottom, but had been repired with firbe glass, got the body shop 2 replace with metal. So can be done ethirway.

its an extra 440 mile round journey from birmingham. Hectic to say the least.

Yeah no worrys, prob not the best things 2 ship. Have you thought about getting some n/a wings and cutting 2 fit a turbo bumper? Really not that hard, done it 2 mine wouldn't be able 2 tell. Used a dermail and a cardboard tempplate, cut the outside off the line then there's a little bit over 2 grind or roll 2 suit.

Thats what the car actually has on the near side front wing just now. It looks good but I was just chasing perfection as there is maybe a fingers width of a gap at the a pillar/door. Not exactly noticeable and I would prob have missed it if i hadnt been told.

Ok, you sure that it's the wing? Dose it line up with bonnet and the wheel arch on the bumper? Dose the bumper fit even along the front off the badge panel? Only thing I can think off is that the n/a wing was cut 2 far in too, then brought folwards 2 wards the bumper if that's even possable?
