Hi All,
I am the proud new owner of a 944S, and absolutely love the car.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of new drive shaft and what sort of cost I am looking at?

Thanks

Harrison

Harrison, Hi & welcome

do you actually need a complete driveshaft or just a CV joint? New ones are around 160 GBP or so and German Swedish& French,Euro car parts, Berlyn, etc would be a source. You'll need new bolts as well as they shouldn't be reused, these are not cheap at around 1.50 - 2.00 each & you need 12 per drive shaft!
CV joints are from the same sources so that would be an option.

PS no charge for the advice but come along to a TIPEC Kent meeting at http://tipec.net/region_southeastlondon.php
Just about to update the page.

 £32 each from GSF. Need some myself. If you need the shaft as well you can get rebuilt ones with new cvs by Leombro or try somewhere like Porsche apart or Alasdair (Sulzeruk) from here.
