My old gaiter and ........knob are looking very tired and also the locking ring that secures it to the centre console is broken.

Before i go spending silly amounts of money on a new one, does anyone know of anywhere that recons them or sells them at a reasonable price.......to make it worse its the burgundy colour too.

You could always replace it with black, won't look 2 out off place. U can get some off eBay 4 around £20new there just fine iv had one that's covered 12000 miles and has shown no wear yet. The plastic clip that hold it in place is ment 2 be split in the middle top or bottom, this is so u can get it out and in. Well mine is, after a few times it's easy.
