I have owned my lovely 944 Lux for 4 years now and pampered it in many ways, servicing cleaning, repairs etc.
My mind has been leaning towards a 944 cab and I have seen one advertised with good history and clean etc.
What should I do...do I keep the one I have(lots of attachment to it)or take the plunge(loan and all) for the cab?
I would love both but wouldnt get away with it :D

Snap. Had mine for 4 years also & was wondering about a swap. It has to be your personnel choice but I wouldn't sell the '44 until your sure you like the cab' as you will struggle to find another good '44. So many dogs for sale it's untrue. Just come back from a long drive with my machine & despite being a bit down on power it's so much fun to drive I can't think of anything else with 4 seats bar a Carrera 2. Would need 20K for one of those & it would have 80K miles & probably need a fair bit of work. Just going to order a new cam for mine & see if I can get the horses back. May even go nuts & put a 3 liter bottom end into it. Toyed with a turbo but just don't want to start again with somebody else's problems.

if your thinking of selling, then i might be very interested, after an s2 or cab myself, looked at a few, but not a decent one as yet.

i was supposed to go yesterday to sheffield to look at one, but had a major prob in my shop on saturday afternoon (water leak, a big 'un) and needed to source some parts to fix the leak yesterday instead! gutted! :(

I have just sold my 944S after 6 years and it was one of the hardest decisions I have ever made, the situation was made easier when the first chap to view (and buy her) seemed as enthusiastic about her as I am/was and when I popped the V5 after transfering the plate was telling me that he had entered her into a couple of concours competitions in the future, I will also see her at club nights and shows which should also be nice
