Added it 2 basket with my head gaskit stuff a while back. Didn't relies it was £65 !!! Mistake number one, but the quality off it is shockin. Is cheap and shit. My sticky one was hard 2 remove due 2 lack off space 4 the size wrench I was using. And in the end I got it free then removed with a bar between the two lugs. Any way the new one Pshop a lug snapped when I was only doing the nut up finger tight. So I just left it till now, while I was looking at power steering leak I tryed 2 solider the wire 2 the snapped lug this worked but then what was left off the lug came free from the unit. And look like it had been guled in! There was clear substance around it which looked like gule. So 4 65 pounds stay well clear and they refused me a refund once the hint had been fitted. |

Dunno if it's worth a crack, but if the item you bought was genuinely not "fit for the purpose for which it was bought", then you have recourse under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended. If a seller sells goods in the course of their business, there is an implied term that the goods are of satisfactory quality: (quote) For the purposes of this Act, the quality of goods includes their state and condition and the following (among others) are in appropriate cases aspects of the quality of goods— (a) fitness for all the purposes for which goods of the kind in question are commonly supplied, (b) appearance and finish, (c) freedom from minor defects, (d) safety, and (e) durability. (unquote) May be worth a try. Businesses cannot get away with shoddy sales - they have a reputation to uphold. |

Bought various spares from Design 911.Most helpful and the prices are about the lowest on the web.If they do not stock it they have no problems sourcing parts. Regards Geoff |

i agree that porscheshop service has gradually gotten worse, the bigger they have got. i have been buying of them for 15 years and recently i find them to have poor customer service. the last order i gave them i had to wait for near 4 weeks to get a off the shelf set of spax springs, which i could have got elsewhere far quicker. design911 on the other hand have been quite helpful when i have been after more unusal parts. |

service could be alot better and prices seem to be made up.....try asking a price of a part and then ask afterwards how much it is with Tipec discount.I guarantee they will tell you that it already includes your tipec discount(amazing when you havent disclosed this)happened to me on 3 seperate occasions. ![]() |

Perhaps they do, but theyre an extremely poor company in a number of ways. Necessity can make for uncomfortable bedfellows... |

944 Man wrote: Never buy from Porscheshop, ever. Id sooner catch the bus. Ditto. I've heard nothing but bad reports from Porscheshod. Had one bad experience with them myself. Never again. No second chances. If TIPEC values their sponsorship they have a serious problem.... ![]() |
