Does anyone know if a Turbo rear exhaust section would be the same fit as that on a 944S2 ? Got an offer of a Dansk rear box to replace the one on my car which "rattles" alarmingly when cold, and now has a split in the silencer front end plate. The S2 system has a small silencer box just after the join to the centre section, whereas the Turbo one doesn't - will this make it more noiser ? I understand there is a sealer "ring" between the two sections, where do you think I could get one of those from ? Sorry if this has been asked before, I've looked through a few "old pages" but couldn't spot a previous item about this. Many thanks

90% sure that the Turbo back section will not be a straight fit, but i may be wrong, try some specialist breakers and e bay and get one that is a straight swap.
HTH Jim.

Many thanks Jim - you are right, the standard connection fitting is a 3 bolt plate, whereas the Dansk system has a more solid 4 bolt plate. After crawling right underneath the car tonight, I've found that the support bracket at this joint has fractured - which was causing the rattle  The subsequent un-supported weight has then caused the silencer box to split too. I'll try my local garage to see if it can be welded, and get a new support bracket from my local spares supplier.
Many thanks for your response & advice. Alan
