 I have a Porsche 944 2.5 and have just started having problems once she is warmed up. If it is a warm day and I accelerate quite hard it seems to miss as if its getting too much fuel and running too rich. Also has issues starting once it is warm as if it is getting too much fuel.

Any ideas would be really appreciated. :D

Cheers,

Mike

Join the club! Start with rotor arm & dizzey. Check condition of plug leads & see you have a good spark. Condition of plugs. The basics. Other likely culprits are the fuel pressure reg & damper. Dirty injectors etc. Clarks garage has a good fault finder but you just need to be thourgh & go through things in a methodical manner & rule things out one at a time.
Does it run fine on cold days??? And when starting from cold??? Is the temp sensor in the AFM good? Clarks garage has a section on testing the AFM. Links to Clarks on this site.

Thanks for your reply. Yeah I have read your post and see your not having a great time getting yours to run right. It does seem to run fine when its cold, only seems to happen when its hot as if it is getting too much fuel or vapour lock in the fuel lines injectors?

Guess putting it on a rolling road might help. :?

Plugs, & a general ignition check over would be first on the list as well as a new air & fuel filter. Next is possibly another Air Flow Meter.
