The cable on the boot release on my 1991 Tubro snapped so I replaced the c. foot long linkage one side, but am not sure about the bolts that hold it in right in the centre. Are there 1 or 2 ?

So, in order that I can see one that is fitted and working, could someone please post up, or e-mail to morethanpolish@gmail.com, a picture of the bolts, from inside the boot, right in the middle ?

Then I'll see what mine is supposed to look like!

this what you are looking for ? your explanation isn't clear ? is it the connection to the hatch lock mechanism or the hatch lock motor end you need ?

Mmmmmmmmm Mark must still be locked in his boot !

...just got out !

Thats perfect - I am missing one set of bolts to hold it in place, otherwise I have guessed correctly so far !

A friend's 968 hatch pops up automatically when the release button is pressed, well impressed, must get my release button to work and fit some new struts !
