Hi All,
Said goodbye to the 944 today. Hope she is happy in her new home and that the new owner has a great deal more success with her than I did.
I would like to say I was sorry to see her go but I didn't even give her a second glance.

Lots of cheap motors around now Ben. All the best what ever you end up with. At least you had the Porsche experience. Sorry it was such a bitter one. If you ever feel the need to play with mine the offer still stands!

If you ever feel the need to play with mine the offer still stands! JJ, I hope you're refering to playing with the 944! I'll be back in a Porsche at some point in my life soon (don't know when). I'm just going to get the mortgage out of the way first, let the nippers grow up a bit and see how things are then. I'll make sure when I do buy my next Porsche, I will really take my time before buying anything and will definetly get it independently inspected regardless of the sellers reputation! Once bitten twice shy and all that. I'm not going to disappear from the forum though. I've got a Porsche project that is almost ready to go live with in the next few weeks - stay tuned. I'm getting my first sample of the S2/Turbo fog light protector in the next few days. Patent is coming along nicely. I'm going to post as soon as I have some pictures of the finished product. Ben

I could have phrased that better.  Glad your not totally disaffected. You can't beat buying from an enthusiast. Dealers all want to get rich. Can't think why........
