gorgeous car Ben. I hadn't appreciated that it was in such excellent condition when i suggested breaking as an option. Hope you wen't offended.

Seems a real shame to let your pride and joy go after all the tlc and money you have invested. You clearly love the car.

Is it not possible to store the car SORN for 6 months whilst you save for the repairs ? I think if you are being pressured into selling the car against your wishes you are likely to end up forever holding resentment which would be a real shame.

Seemed to me that there were plenty of members that were willing to help you with the repairs . I hope you rethink this sale as I have a feeling you'll regret the decision to sell .

Says it all Ben. You haven't hawked it around enough body shops yet. Some have no work as cars are worth so little many minor bumps are righting cars off so theres less work for the repair guys.
