Fitted a Promax chip to the 968 tonight and I got to say I'm quite impressed. The car is much smoother and picks up better - 20mins to fit, very worthwhile. HP gain who knows.

I hope you checked the fueling. Increasing numbers of engines are being destroyed by generic maps. It may go better if it's over fueling so this is no guide. Should only cost £60 to run it on the rollers & check everything is as it should be. Either that or borrow an exhaust gas meter. Chips should never be fitted without this simple safety check. So long as alls ok then you got a good value upgrade!
