Just got back from the garage with a new MOT, advisory on reversing lights.....at home I found fuse 9 for reversing lights, rear window wiper, external rear view mirrors (wing mirrors) had blown. I have so far replaced the fuse 3 times and it blows as soon as the ignition key is turned has anyone else had experience of this problem any sugestion much appreciated. Phil |

Phil Check for short on gearbox wiring to switch, chafes, shorts & breaks in the rear hatch wiring & the door wiring where it pivots. |

Thanks Jim, reminds me of the fun I had with a Volvo tailgate once. However, I did remove the fuse box and found a couple of trapped wires that were bared through but having run out of fuses it will have to wait till tomorrow now before I can get to the source of the problem. Thanks again Phil |

Thanks again Phil Sounds like you might just have found your fault. A bit of heat shrink round the bare wires and they'll be as good as new. Ben ![]() |
