Is there a preferred engine oil I should use in my 944 S2 ive noticed on the history they have used 10w 40 |

10w40 is generally the grade used, I put Mobil Super 10w40 in my S2 cab when I had it. |

C50 wrote: part synthetic is fine for NA cars Or even mineral, depends on how many miles a year & how often you change it. If you do 3K a year & change it every year it may as well be mineral. If you do 12K a year & only want one oil change then it has to be semi or full. Personally on older cars I do more oil changes & stay with cheapy oils. In early 80's I mechaniced on a Lotus twincam doing 150BHP from 1600cc & used standard Duckhams but it did get binned every other meeting. |
