Hello and welcome to TIPEC

The S2 looks good. The "Red is the fastest colour" brigade will be along shortly to welcome you.

I'm sure you'll enjoy 944 ownership.

All the best,

Simon,
Looks very straight, make sure the cam belt is current and also check that the nylon slipper tensioner pad has been done, this is not a service item and wears which can cause huge damage if it gets too worn.
Do a search on it to enlighten you, get those sills clattered with rustproofing fluid/wax and the bottom of the front wings, clear all the crud from them and remove the front wing plastic lower extensions and clean those also rear number light apertures can also rust from inside out unclip the rear boot carpet where the spare sits and clatter some anti rust wax in there also.
Fill her up with petrol and enjoy, you can also be quietly smug knowing that you have probably just bought yourself about the best built and handling 2+2 Sport Coupes.
Keep plenty of wak (not polish) on that paint as it is famous for turning pink if not looked after.
Have a go at resetting the trip meter...................when you cannot fathom it out come back and ask :?:

Don't try to reset the trip meter whilst the car is moving or it will end in tears

Awesome and welcome.
I too am a fairly new owner and am loving mine and I'm sure you will love yours too.

Went to a family BBQ this Sunday gone and despite being the oldest and probably the cheapest car there, almost every one asked who owned the Porsche and commented on how fabulous it looked.

A true feelgood factor is gained from ownership of these gorgeous cars.

Sadly for me I brought mine before I found out that the bank manager wouldn't give me a loan to pay for it. So I spend most weekends just looking at mine at the moment.
oddly the girlfriend wants me to spend money on food and not petrol.

Enjoy your self but look after her too.
