With all this warmer weather I've noticed that the cold air coming in through the vents is rather more warm than cold. I'm sure the warm air from the engine bay is getting to the blower inlets - is there a solution to this?

My Heat/Vent system is otherwise working very well - no broken clips etc etc. I'd just like a colder cold air setting.

From the handbook - The automatic heating regulates the temperature in the passenger compartment in accordance with the temperature range to which knob (4) is set. (that's the one with the temperature on it). The passenger compartment temperature is kept constant under changing climatic conditions. However, the lowest regulated temperature can only correspond to the prevailing ambient temperature.

So basically you can have it hotter inside than it is outside, but not cooler - therefore the cold air coming in will get warmer as it gets warmer outside. The good news is you haven't got a problem.

Thanks for the response John but my model doesn't have temperature settings on the dial just blue to red fade. No AC either.

Hi,

TBH, I find the blower useless in this hot weather. I just open the windows and sunroof. Another top tip is to invest in some quality talcum powder. Apply to you're dangly bits and it helps soak up the moisture from the nether regions and prevents betty swollocks syndrome.

Somebody's wandered off with half my AC system and having a square dash means my blower's not going to be ideal anyway. Add to that the lack of a sunroof and things could get a bit toasty in my car.

Time to start developing the 944 sprinkler system!
