Well I took pro max up on there chip, after final working out how 2 split the mother board, ( you have 2 push the top row of the main connector down). Noticeable increase. I got unversal aplrio air fitter and made it fit. The promax fitting instructions says mapping suits a cone fillter. So I thought I would try it. Noticable lost and a noticable increase when the oem box was re fitted. Could be a cheap cone but it got so hot and would stay hot 4 hours couldn't see how any other location in the eingne bay would change temp, I aslo had the oem cold feed right at the end of it.

It was very hot today. 29 here. So not surprised. Unless you can duct cold air to it I can't see how it would work. The guys on the dyno all say there a waste of time on a '44. The stock filter takes fresh air from under the car. You can get a headlight cover with a slot in it for a fresh air feed in the right place. Downside to good aerodynamics.

I swaped it back on Friday, didn't really get 2 drive car 2day, a little clean turned in 2 7 hour session, a punch up with the girls ex boyfriend who's drive I was using. And the rest of the night talking to police. I'm fine the girl came out with a black eye.

I waxed the car Tuesday and it was filthy by Friday, so I persure washed it thinking it would all just come off the wax, ended up with water marks, buffed most put with a polishing cloth. So I thought r get them out with a clay bar and polished then rewaxed the car again , but this time they were worse, there was White water marks like depth of light sracths, shaped like goshting, of the settal shape.( Bit like bird poo.) I got them from rinse in down the car, warm soppy water and then rinsing again with cold hose. Could it be the lackqure? Blistered under the heat, they wouldn't clay out or polish or buff with a chamos. They look gone when wet?
