My power steering failed yesterday, I am developing my arm muscles now, its not so bad unless parking.
So I checked to see what it was - easy the belt had vanished.... . but
Looked a bit closer - the pump was loose.
Yes the turnbuckle bar has dropped off and vanished.
Now I've never had this apart but the garage that did my belts did....

Any one got one lying about they would not mind parting with?

Funnily enough, mine did exactly the same thing a few months ago. It was my own fault for forgetting to re-tighten the end bolts after adjusting, maybe your garage did the same?

Also the turnbuckle bolts came in two different lengths, make sure you get one long enough. You can also bolt in an appropiate length spanner to make do for the time being.
