Just in the middle of doing mine & writing it up for AT. But check the shoulders of the cone on the latch, should be square not rounded.
Then check the latch in the body is closing properly, they may need cleaning & greasing. It should be like a pair of scissors coming together.

If it is not the hatch locks and pins that are worn it may be the glass coming loose in the hatch frame. Mine used to rattle and occasionally lift unexpectedly, I replaced the pins and locks and once adjusted properly the hatch shuts really tight no rattles and nop water leaks. Cheapest place I found for the locks was my local OPC around £48 for a pair delivered.

V.easy to change and yes you do need to remove the anti roll bar, little squirt of WD40 or fairy liquid will help the new ones slide on.

Its a good idea if doing anything under the car to put it on stands. You need to undo 6 nuts to remove the ARB after taking off the undertray.
A v.simple job.

When replacing the roll bar bushes take a close look at the state of the drop links. They will often fail when new bushes are fitted. Then you lose the new bushes! Mine did that.

One thing to note is I beleive you can buy the pins seperate from the mounting block for very little money from an OPC if the mounting block is in good condition and you can remove the pins, I think less than £10 for the pair.
