Hello all..

I'm happy to say that apart from the front left headlight having to be replaced my pride and joy passed it's MOT for the 5th year running! :D Not bad for a non - mechanic!! The only major downside now is shortly (June 3rd) I'll be going under the knife at last to have my right hip replaced.. those of you who were at Trentham last year may remember me hobbling around like an old fart. 2 years now of not walking properly is long enough ... I can hardly walk at all now. So, unfortunately I'll miss Gaydon for the first time, Trentham and Tatton shows, Lichfield Cars in the Park, and of course all the meets in Cheshire/Staffs and Central. I'll be up and about again (abw) in September. All the best peeps and see you then....

Baz

PS The only upside is I've got SKY HD coming next Saturday and I am going to HAVE to watch ALL of the World Cup!! I'm gutted...... NOT!

  :cya:

Thats a shame but I know what it feels like to be grounded. I'm either visiting my mum (Whos not at all well.) Working or doing child care. Just got back from taking the wife to work as the trains are all messed up with engineering work. Then it's back again to pick her up. Does eat into the day. Hope all goes well with the op. Then you have to use it as much as possible to get going again. (When they tell you too. ) Sure you will be running around again soon! Don't know if I will make Gaydon as it depends on the condition of my mum. Fed up with carers that don't care & cleaners that don't clean. :(

Baz don't worry about the op! Mum had her left hip done 5 years ago & has just had done the right one & she is 79 this year!
Recovery is pretty quick, she has been up & about within a day or so. And now she is out about gardening 4 months after the op.

News on the MOT is obviously good as well.
