Apologies if this has been covered and Ive missed it. The other day I spotted this lcd clock screen fix on Rennlist http://forums.rennlist.com/rennforums/9 ... -kits.html All in cost me £28.35, takes about 15 minutes once you have the clock removed and now I have a nice new looking working clock. The kit even includes a blue led bulb. |

The guy emails the instructions in word and pdf then sends the new screen, 2 rubber connector strips and the blue led bulb. Delivery took about 3 weeks and it was all very well packed. |

I replaced my clock with a coin cubby hole(trimming involved)and fitted a bmw analog clock complete with cubby hole into the centre console. Must admit I do prefer this clock to the original digital one. |

Could you post a pic of that Alan? Sounds good. Bet if I tried to fix my clock it would be the whole thing not just the display! |

I had no problems, just a bit fiddly and be very careful with the fascia plastics, age tends to make them brittle. If you go here http://www.clarks-garage.com/ and click on the garage shop manual link, scroll down to clock, this will tell you how to get the clock out then just follow the screen instructions supplied to dismantle and fit the new screen. You will need a very small flat blade screwdriver or some thin implement to ease the plastic tabs back. Hope that helps |
