anyone fitted the promax motorsport uprated chips on a 250bhp 944 turbo ?

if so any good ?

any issues ?

Do it right & remap. Look at Mas's car. What would have happened to that if he'd just plugged a chip in. There a waste of money IMHO. Would have scrapped my engine too. Only a dyno run will check your fueling. If you must then a dyno run is obligatory. All engines are different. Maybe now there more the same but 15+ years ago..........

Yes, I have known dozens of people fit these chips and they all do exactly what they say on the tin. Your boost pressure will be raised, you will get slightly less lag and you will get more power and torque (the actual numbers will depend on how good your engine is in the first place). If your headgasket is just about on its last legs then the extra boost pressure will tip it over the edge sooner than it would have done, but those with a fresh gasket (as we all should have after 20 years) will enjoy safe motoring for many years to come.

As with any power mod, make sure everything is in fine fettle beforehand. Any boost leaks or ignition problems will reduce any expected performance gains
