I'm trying to remove my fuel lines at the moment as they're rusted pretty badly but I have no idea how to get the clips off. I have tried prising them off with a screwdriver but had no luck, only managed to get it partly off.

Is there a special trick to it or am I just going to have to cut them off, I'm quite happy to replace them if I have to.

If they are OEM then they have to be cut off. You need the crimp tool to replace them, you can get proper fuel clips which aren't jubilee clips. The other option is to replace the hose with a Goodridge type compression fitting.

Sorry didn't make myself clear. I meant the plastic clips that hold the pipes to the bodywork. I've cut them off now so don't need to worry, will get some fresh ones re-ordered along with some other bits.
