hi help started to get a judder from the rear end when pulling away can any one help

Could be clutch, gearbox mounting, hub. It needs getting up on a ramp to investigate TBH

Hi,

I had that but only when hot, it turned out to be the rubber section in the clutch, the clutch bite is fine but the whole thing has got to be replaced.

Fingers crossed it’s not your clutch

Mine judders when stinking hot e.g. in traffic. But clears when you get going. Then again I believe mine has the original clutch at 144K!

Yep, I had the same but only 97K, did around 3k like it and then it went when I was 120 mile away from home :evil:

You have to manage the clutch when you're in traffic. I've been doing it for the last 30000 miles, simply put the car in neutral and clutch out whenever you stop moving and it stops it overheating and causing the judder. When you've been doing it as long as I have it becomes second nature so that I hardly ever suffer the judder now. Like Jim says, as soon as you get going it cools down and there's no problem.

I know mine is the original clutch at 197000 - so does everybody else as I never shut up about it :lol:

Just think all the time you have the clutch in it costing you money (about £1,200) so I agree with Tri-Man, 197k nice one, you sure it’s not an automatic :D
