Does anyone know if the wishbone off a 1990 S2 will fit an 88 Lux ?? |

Post 87 oval dash should be the same I believe. There alloy & wider track than the early ones which were stock VW golf. |

IIRC, cars before 1987 (assuming they are on the short/220 Turbo Alloy arms) can take the steel arms with removable balljoints from a Golf Mk1 like the early 924 and Series 1 944. |

Thanks for the replies which confirmed what i was thinking but just wanted to be sure before i stripped the car down.Regarding the steel arms last time i changed a bottom ball joint it had mk2 Golf on the packet which i presume would be the same as a mk1 golf ??. |

Yes early cars use a VW K70 (later used on Golf) wishbone and ball joint. The 924 used K70 brakes too. |
