A metamorphosis? Sounds interesting … and secretive!

Will it emerge a beautiful butterfly?

Nah nowt to do with the body, well not yet any way!

Everything to do with the 944 S2 3 litre lump I've just bought & an Eaton Supercharger off a Mercedes Kompressor sitting in my garage.
Wooo Hoooo

I'll drop you Frank Hughes email address if you want it, he went a similar route with his S2 when he put in a 968 lump and supercharged it.

Peter Empson's doing something similar with his road/track car. He's fitting the SFR setup.

Yea, well sort of. Part of my apprenticeship was mechanical & electrical as well as electronic which was the main part. Been involved with things mechanical since I was about 8 years old. This sounds like a good excuse to buy a lathe & pillar drill, not that I need many excuses
Apart from the bracketry & the pulleys, the rest of it is big plumbing. Not quite made up my mind about fueling or ignition yet. Various add on solutions appear to be available or I bin all the existing management & use something like an Emerald aftermarket system.
I'll be taking drawings as I go, as their maybe a small market for this. N/A 944's are difficult to tune as they are relatively highly tuned anyway. So people maybe interested in an up to 40% power increase that's relatively cheap. A standard S2 is around 210BHP so 40% is around 80BHP, so a total of 290ish BHP.
The Kompressor supercharger was £ 205 shipped. Their will certainly be pics & words for a future edition of AT.
