You need to get the right one as it has to match the AFM. Of repace them both. Porscheapart will have the right one. |

the bosh part no is 0261.200.076 is it best to match it using that? a breaker i cantacted wanted to match it using the porsche part no which is 944.618.121.03 (TYP 944 mws-01) but the porsche part no seems to match up lots of models from what ive researched already. |

I noticed 0261.200.077 on ebay. Might not be any good to you though, but thought would mention in case it is backwards compatible. There is a guy on the 928UK who is into ECUs - I have dropped him and email to see if he has any advice. Regards Paul |

I've just bought a replacement for my S2 from eBay. The Bosch and Porsche part numbers match the original one I had on my car. |

They'll get a lot of work then. I think Ebay is best bet, just need to be patient or one of the Porsche breakers. Good luck! Paul |

Give these guys a try http://www.ecu-testing.com/ Unfortunately pricing of repairs is based on the fact that new ones are 00's if not 000's pounds. |

I agree Jim ... but good used ones sell for £30 to £70 on Ebay. I guess it does need a great deal of knowledge to repair the things though. Fingers crossed you get sorted soon. Will keep an eye out for you Ribena. Regards Paul |
