Turbo front end is all on, just need a o/s drivers side headlight, which I should be winning from eBay, unless tri man gona spoil it for me, just joking mate. Got a front spillter from pro 9 ( same as Porsche shop but half the price ) cup wing mirrors from clubautosport and the rear spoiler is still undecide. Wheel wise I'm get mine refubed 4 now in with the price of the re spary. They suit the turbo look much better then the n/a and should complelyment the cup wing mirrors. Going too change 2 coloured center caps as this will make it easyer 2 change the wheel colour. Thinking a lighter sliver as it ties in the clear lights.

Here the bit I'm in sure of, decatails/stone guards. Anyone used none OME? How u find them? Colour? Black or sliver 2 macth wheels and lights? Or black 2 macth door handles and window rubbers. I'm de rubbing the rear bumper and I'm having clear rear lights, all 3 top blocks.

You can get clear stone guards they look a lot neater than the coloured ones.

Sounds good. I got a set of clear stone guards on ebay for £20 but i was lucky. Porshceshop sell them as well as others.
Good to meet somebody else who's prepared to spend too much on there 944! :bounce:

Check at your Official Porsche Centre (OPC) - as you should do when buying any parts. I recently bought the bonnet release lever backing plate (by the passenger side footwell) from my OPC at less than half of what was being asked on Ebay. The same went for anti-roll bar bushes, much cheaper at the OPC than at Porscheshop - who I've yet to find lowest priced for anything. When you join TIPEC you can ask the OPC for discount - and get it, unlike some shops who will say "it's already included" when it's not.

You seem to be spending a lot of money on your car, may as well take the time to look around and spend it wisely. All those little savings add up..... or as they say in a well known store that doesn't sell Porsche parts (yet) - "every little helps".

There is an article on de-rubbering the rear bumper on PCGB forum and it seems fairly simple if you don't mind re-spraying your bumper. Basically remove bumper from car, remove rubber trim (probably have to grind off fasteners then fill holes left by bolts with flexible body filler, prime, spray and re-fit, end result looked very good and certainly updated the look of the rear end at least on the turbo/S2 as front matches.

Iv had 2 delay the respary, as a turbo headlight lid and front surrounds gone missing in the post. Ordered another. Will up date about pro 9 chin spoiler and eBay 968 rear spoiler plus clear rear lense,

Coulors,
been racking my brains over a coulor change.
Thinking a fresh coulor will give the car more of a new feel, just can't decide, black or lambo orange ?

Nice to meet yesterday Terry! Sorry about having to leg it but I was getting wet.
I've been debating changing mine to GT3 Orange, I have the paint code & think it would look great but not with a burgundy interior! Anyway the white is the fastest colour so why would I make it go slower
Black shows every dent & ding & is a nightmare on an old car, Lambo orange will be seriously expensive on paint & labour as it is a pearlescent colour.

No wprrys jim, sorry them wings weren't of more use. Gt3 orange is a bit strong and dark 4 my liking. I'm looking more yellow/ orange then brown/orange. Black not all so bad, lot easyer 2 add and change parts with. Would like 2 know more about ur s2 super charger, and if ur transaxle and clucth would cope

Nah if you are going Orange then go proper orange Porsche L8C6 is the paint code you want

Pics of the project still early days are here:- http://www.pbase.com/tr7v8/944_sc_project

I have an S2 transaxle with LSD & driveshafts so may be alright if not I'll go turbo box. The clutch is easy as plenty of uprated ones around.

If you Google 'Porsche 944' and select images there's hundreds of pictures to help you choose a colour. Also '944 paint scheme / job' will get you some nice cars in America.
