Fan is staying o. 4 hours after the car is turned of. I'm having 2 take fuse out, yet once the temp gauge iside the car is settaled, it starts up the moment the fan plug bak in. Is it dangrous 2 drive? Temp nedle never moves over the 1st White line but dose climb from a cold start, so I'm guessing it works and not sticked.

If your fan was staying on for four hours then the battery would go flat.

Yet another incomprehensible post from you. If you wrote your requests in English, without 'text' abbreviations, poor grammar and bad spelling, we might understand what you're on about and be able to answer your queries for you.

This isn't myspace / facebook / msn / or any of those social websites where the quality of your spelling and grammar is acceptable, or is even the norm!

If you have some sort of problem like dyslexia then I apologise, but if you haven't then please try to improve the quality of the spelling and grammar in your postings.

Help us to help you.

sounds like the rad thermowitch to me, about a tenner and 10 minutes to fix, otherwise its the fan relay in the fuse box

Sound right to me. First I would try disconecting the switch on the right of the radiator instead of removing the fuse and see if the stops it. If so, it is the switch. If not it is the relay.

Dude,

Give the guy a break. He might not have the best punctuation and grammar, but I think most of us can get the idea of what he's saying. Don't be so un-Christian. :angel5: Remember, TIPEC is non-elitist. Lets not alienate our members. Live and let live - I'm all about the love man. :hippy2:

Ben,

That was nice for a Sunday morning. Hope I feel as good after the kids get up. Please excuse my spelling mistakes in advance of my future posts.

Lee.

Good morning Ben - You will notice that I was sensitive enough to include 'If you have some sort of problem like dyslexia then I apologise'. I'm also an 'each to his own' person. I don't expect everybody to do what I do. I like sport - I play squash for Knutsford and do triathlon. I played squash yesterday afternoon, did a mile swim this morning at 0830, and I will be doing a five mile run this afternoon - but I never insist others do the same because it's 'each to his own' and 'live and let die'. Don't tell anybody as it spoils the image, but this evening I will be doing the ironing  As for being Christian, I fully intended to go to Church in Great Budworth this morning (really), but the service started at 1030 and I've missed it now because I've spent so much time doing this - mainly checking the spelling and grammar  . It would be rude to turn up late, although I suppose I might have missed the collection plate!

However, we don't know who this T3rra guy is. He joined the forum on 24 01 2010, there is no introduction, he posted his first posting on 30 01 2010, and has 51 posts to date. His profile is empty, and strangely he has the phrase 'Which of these is NOT a Porsche?: 926' - which is lifted from somebody else's avatar thing. I've seen it before on this forum and maybe you have too.

Good morning to you too Lee - there are plenty of spelling mistakes on this forum, and seeing as there is no spell checker then most of them (including mine) are acceptable. Most mistakes are from hitting the wrong key - I suppose none of us are trained typists. Unfortunately I find it difficult to tolerate T3rra's postings without a reasonable explanation, and find it even harder to simply ignore them.

By the way T3rra - 'Temp nedle never moves over the 1st White line but dose climb from a cold start, so I'm guessing it works and not sticked'. The 944s run cool and the needle will rarely move above the first line unless you're sat in traffic - but nobody's told you that because they're too busy berating me!

Now how about an introduction from you so people know a bit about you?

Piece adn luv to evrybodi, piece adn luv

The temp gauge not moving around is most likely to be down to an iffy thermostat. They seem to get loose after a few years. But if it's not overheating I'd leave it alone.

I also have the 926 "Tag Line" I gather its in reference to the questions asked when you first register. Shame on me really for forgetting It but that's what makes us human eh!

I'm dyslexic. Can't spell for toffee. Thanks to the spell checker in Opera mostly you wouldn't notice. Except that I don't always post what I want to say & don't get why often nobody understands me  Have to agree with Ben that your being a bit hard on the guy. Anyone who loves the 944 is ok in my book! Terra how about a bit of an intro? I can recommend opera as a web browser. Its a big help to me!

Gerrof off you big girl :tongue10:

I have to admit I really struggle to understand what Terra is asking sometimes :? . I think in this instance it is the thermoswitch at the bottom of the radiator causing the problem

That's honest of you JJ, and bound to be helpful too to other sufferers - the stuff you can learn on forums is endless. I didn't want to be hard on anybody, just getting frustrated I guess - comes from being perfect myself . I spend ages with the dictionary checking spelling before pressing 'submit' - and still don't always get it right, especially when I use my wife's English - Ukraine one!

As for the tag line - I wasn't aware of the questions asked when you first register. I only remember being asked two questions: "Do you have a Porsche?" and "Have you ever seen a grown man naked?".

Anyway, now we've all hugged and had the tea.... who's going to solve T3rra's car's problem? And where is he anyway?

Off to fix my bike.
