Hi again,

Ive got to put my '44 through an MOT soon, I'm sure it'll fly through (famous last words) apart from the fact that i removed the rear seat belts and subsequently ruined them by letting them retract all the way in.

SO i have to buy new ones. Now does anyone know the rules regarding putting lap belts in the rear, or do i have to put inertia ones back in?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

IMO I'd put back in the original inertia belts (or sort them out accordingly). Lap belts are crap and on the off chance you should ever travel with a passenger in the rear, and have an accident, the passenger in the back stands a good chance of being paralysed. :(

Not worth the risk really.
