Something to do with the heater perhaps? Don't have it on my square dash car. |

Looks like the heater control valve. But with it disconnected you would have a major vacuum leak which could be the cause of your stalling problem. I replaced all the vacuum lines in my car with a silicon kit from Lindsey racing. Cost less than £20 & haven't had a problem with the lines since. Highly recommended ![]() |

JJ, are you sure that the heater control valve is operated off the engine vacuum? AFAIK it has its own vacuum pump/reservoir. I know when mine was loose (I changed it for another bend) that I had no issues bar a heater that was permanently hot. |

It does on mine. But with cars of this age anything is possible. They could have been re piped before. On mine theres a Y piece to the brakes servo circuit after the heater. Close to the heater control valve. Haven't tried to see what happens if I unplug mine which would be the only way to be sure. Snow again here today so couldn't get out this morning. Sheet ice on the slope out. |

Clearly not your problem. But there are a lot more vacuum lines than that going into my heater! Hope the DME relay fixes it! |
