Post subject:  Sunroof Seal

hi does anyone know where i can get a sunroof seal it started leaking a tiny bit my car is a 1988 lux with a removable sunroof

Any of these suppliers stock them. I believe there are 2 versions so confirm with them which model you have. Local OPC is worth a check aswell.

Also check the drain holes are not blocked and so water is collecting in that area.

First check is always the drains (all 4) especially after the carp winter we're having. To do this properly the roof has to come off completely. Rod them through with a stiff piece of eleccy flex or an oldspeedo cable.Whilst it is off smear some vaseline along the roof seal. This may very well stop it. The top seal is not a water seal it just stops the crud & large qunatities of water. Most of the time it is the drains that pipe the water away.
