Hi,

When the rear wiper motor packs up, most owners replace it with a grommit, nut and bolt to bung up the hole in the rear screen for around 99p.

If you really want to replace it, you could try Porschapart for a good second hand rear wiper unit. I've been told that the rear wiper off a Renault Megane will fit and gives better wiper coverage at 20".

Unfortunately though, the wiper is set on the wrong side of the boot and IMO wipes the wrong side. Something that obviously benefits left hand drive cars.

Hope this helps.

I used an M6 cap screw & washers (Stainless) & a couple of black tap washers drilled 5.5mm. The washers are tapered & fit the hole on mine but there are two sizes. Mines the small one. Later hatches had a bigger hole. (Though tap washers come in larger sizes!) Don't pay £20 for a bung thats a rip off. It takes minutes to make your own. Grommets can be hard to find unless you wander around scrap yards a lot! :)
